1. Make your resume stand out

You want people who are hiring to pick up your resume from a pile of others and have yours stand out right away. Don’t be scared about using a different format or even adding some color to it, after all you want to demonstrate to others that you are different and unique, and this is why they should hire you. 

2. Talk about your skills as well

People are interested in hearing what you can do and what you are good at. Everyone talks about their previous jobs, which is great as well, but don’t forget to tell them what you can do. For instance if you can speak another language, use a special software, if you are good at using technology, etc, make sure that you tell them everything you are great at, as this could serve in your advantage.

This is extremely important. Proofread your work, you don’t want to overlook a small detail that makes others think that you aren’t careful with your work. Make sure you edit necessary changes and have your work look professionally with great grammar and spelling.
